Mercedes-Benz X-Class teaser of pickup truck debut ahead of July 18


A known fact now for sometime is that Mercedes- Benz is entering the consumer truck world with its unique and new X-Class Luxury Pickup, but as far as it has come to light is a pair of concept vehicles shown off in the last fall. However, it is anticipated to change this month later as the official debut of the truck is scheduled for 18th of July. The German manufacturer is creating much hype and owing to this has launched a new video teaser that offers a clear look at the final design of the Pickup truck.

As expected from a luxury car company, you can find the video is full of grandiose imagery such as dust clouds, ocean waves, lightning and also the running horses. All this in combination gives way to few brief clips of the headlights of the X-class, front grille, tail lights and its silhouette from the side and this was possible as it was a driving horizontal shot.

The final production model has made clear that the X-Class does not stray away from the concepts of last years and thus maintains the overall same size and shape, besides its four-door cabin. The platform of the truck has been built in cooperation with Nissan-Renault and is mainly designed to compete with similar pickups off-road from Mitsubishi and Toyota.

It will feature a V6 engine and the specs, pricing and release date details are awaited and this information is anticipated to be shared on 18th July. However, the truck enthusiasts in the US, Mercedes states the X-Class will be sold in the Europe, Africa regions and Latin America only.
